From my experience, timing is everything when it comes to exterior paint jobs! We learned the hard way, attempting a touch-up in late autumn and it was a disaster because the paint wouldn't dry properly. It really does need to be a specific time and I think summer is best, but I agree that it can't be scorching. For us in London, finding reliable exterior painters london who understand the local climate was important. They actually recommended late spring or early summer, when it's warm enough for the paint to cure properly but before the really intense heat sets in. They also stressed the importance of avoiding days with high humidity or rain. Ultimately we followed their advice which worked out very well.

Hey everyone! I was replaying an old mobile game I bought years ago, and it reminded me how different things used to be — you paid once and got the full experience. Now almost every game feels unfinished unless you keep spending money. I found this article: https://www.jedinews.com/misc/articles/why-pay-once-mobile-games-are-vanishing/, and it explains how the industry shifted because free-to-play games generate way more long-term revenue. Apparently, most mobile gaming income now comes from in-app purchases instead of upfront payments . It made me wonder — do games feel less “complete” now because of this?

Just came across this thread and it’s an interesting way to look at it. Even outside gaming, a lot of digital products moved away from being “complete” and toward continuous updates and engagement. It seems like the idea of finishing something is becoming less common overall. Makes you think about how much our expectations have changed without us really noticing.
