Corinna and Margaret attended an action packed Stroke Bootcamp last week.
The five day event was hosted by the University of Ulster, supported by Public Health Agency, Health and Social Care Board, and Cross border Healthcare Intervention Trials in Ireland Network (chitin).
With speakers from across the globe, we discussed the latest research and innovative treatments for evidence based stroke care including:
– mirror therapy
– constraint induced movement therapy
– neglect
– MoCA | Cognitive Assessment
Corinna and Margaret undertook training in the use of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) and are they are now certified to administer and score the MoCA.
